CapitalFXM claims to be a subsidiary of ActivTrades PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), registration number 434413. However, our search for this trading platform in the FCA registry shows that ActivTrades PLC has its own brand and website, and we confirmed that CapitalFXM is not belongs to this FCA-registered firm after contacting ActivTrades PLC's customer service. As such, CapitalFXM is using false regulatory information and licensing data to fool unsuspecting investors. In addition, the Italian Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) has ordered CapitalFXM's website to be blacked out since it offers financial services illegally.
In essence, CapitalFXM is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting this broker with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. It is unequivocally a scam.
