On April 23, 2025, the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (NZ FMA) issued a warning about Coyken, stating that this platform is involved in deepfake video scams and has a connection with another fake platform CapitalXTrade. https://www.fma.govt.nz/library/warnings-and-alerts/capitalxtrade-and-coyken/

Coyken claims to be a trading platform registered with the Financial Services Authority of St. Vincent and The Grenadines (SVG FSA), allegedly holding the registration number 26894BC2022. However, the information disclosed by the SVG FSA doesn't suggest any connection between Coyken and the claimed Reg. number. In addition, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (NZ FMA) have issued warnings about Coyken for suspicious financial activities.

In essence, Coyken is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds.  Coyken appears to be a scam.
