EquityTrade claims to be a UK-based registered investment platform, and as per the United Kingdom law, all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorized or registered by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
However, when we searched in FCA, we only found a warning against this broker for providing financial services or products in the UK without authorization. The truth is, EquityTrade is not under valid regulation by any regulators to provide investment services. Investors' funds in this company are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. It is a scam.
