Aug 22, 2023 BrokersView has reviewed that FidelityCFD is an unregulated broker
FidelityCFD's claim concerning its regulatory status is false.
Firstly, FidelityCFD marks itself as an established forex broker since 2015, but its domain fidelitycfd.com is newly registered in June 2023.
Secondly, FidelityCFD claims to be the trading name of Top Markets Ltd, a company supposedly registered with the Hong Kong Securities and Exchange Commission. However, there isn't a such authority in Hong Kong and this broker is required to be licensed by Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate any records matching Top Markets Ltd on the SFC register.
Thirdly, FidelityCFD is allegedly domiciled in the UK. However, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has added it to its warning list for providing financial services or products in this jurisdiction without the required authorization.
In essence, FidelityCFD is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting this broker with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds.
FidelityCFD is unequivocally a scam.
