For example, IceTrade.co.uk and the regulated company have different website addresses, email addresses, and logos, and the latter operates as a trade repository rather than a broker. This means whether or not IceTrade.co.uk is operated by ICE Trade Vault Europe Limited, the investment services or products it offers are illegal. In addition, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) issued a warning against IceTrade.co.uk, stating that this broker is not registered in Ontario to engage in the business of trading in securities.
