MetaFXTrade claims to be registered in the British Virgin Islands and Vanuatu. However, please be informed that having registration does not mean being authorized to provide forex services. Any forex brokers shall be regulated by local forex regulators to sell forex products.
MetaFXTrade also claims to be regulated by Vanuatu Financial Service Commission (VFSC) with regulatory number 17901. We searched VFSC and found neither the regulatory number nor the company name. That means MetaFXTrade is not regulated by VFSC to provide financial services.
We also searched the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC) and still found no matching result. That means MetaFXTrade is not regulated in BVI.
Moreover, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) issued a warning that MetaFXTrade is not registered in Ontario to engage in the business of trading in securities.
The truth is that MetaFXTrade is not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe, and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.
