Operating status: SCAM

On May 16, 2024, the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) added Omega Capital Markets to its warning list as a fraudulent trading platform operating in the Belgian market and advised investors to stay away from it. https://www.fsma.be/en/warnings/look-out-traps-beware-these-fraudulent-trading-platforms

On March 25, 2024, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) flagged the website omegacm.net as an imposter. The operators of this site falsely refer to themselves as Omega Capital Markets. This fraudulent entity has misused the registration information of the legitimate firm, Omega Capital Pty Ltd. https://moneysmart.gov.au/check-and-report-scams/investor-alert-list#!impersonation-of-omega-capital-markets-omegacm-net--1732

It raises suspicions when links labeled with registration numbers direct to Skype instead of the specific page of the registry. Furthermore, this brand operates under two domains, one of which is inaccessible, and the other was newly registered in March 2024. These facts cast doubt on the credibility of Omega Capital Markets.

Omega Capital Markets displays registration information at the bottom of its homepage, claiming to be registered with relevant financial regulators in both Australia and Canada. However, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has already issued a warning about Omega Capital Markets, identifying it as an imposter that misuses the information of the registered entity, OMEGA CAPITAL PTY LTD. As for its Canadian registration, there are no corresponding records from the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) to suggest its legitimacy and authenticity.

Another compelling evidence of its illegitimacy comes from the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA), which has added Omega Capital Markets to its warning list as a fraudulent platform and advised investors to steer clear of it.

In essence, Omega Capital Markets is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds.
Omega Capital Markets appears to be a scam.
