  • Mar 14, 2022 BrokersView has reviewed that Robbo Forex is an Unregulated Forex Broker

Robbo Forex shows Signs of Firm Cloning

Taking a look at its home page, Robbo Forex seems to have connections with a legit Cypriot broker RoboMarkets (formerly RoboForex). However, we should make clear straight away that Robbo Forex has no relationship with RoboMarkets. Although the firm doesn't claim to be licensed or related to the legit broker, it seems that Robbo Forex is attempting to confuse traders by choosing its misleading name–a popular scam tactic known as firm cloning.

Robbo Forex has no regulatory license. With its headquarters is in New York, USA, the entity must be registered as a futures commission merchant and foreign exchange dealer with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and to be a member of the National Futures Association (NFA) as US-based reliable forex brokers do. However, no results matched with Robbo Forex on the two regulatory bodies.

What's more, the FCA recently added the company to its warning list. On 22 February 2022, the UK’s financial watchdog added Robbo Forex to its warning list, saying that this firm is not authorised by it and is targeting people in the UK.

Based on the information we hold, we can conclude that Robbo Forex is a scam.
