SmartCoin FX claims to be the Investing name of SmartCoin FX Group Ltd, a company authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) with license number: 150/11. Besides, SmartCoin FX Overseas Ltd which is authorized and regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) with license number 17933, is a subsidiary of SmartCoin FX Group Ltd. However, we found the regulatory license both in CySEC and VFSC belongs to a company named "JFD Group Ltd."
What's more, SmartCoin FX claims to be a UK-registered company registered with the Company House of the United Kingdom (CH) under the number: 03624767. But please be informed that CH is the United Kingdom's registrar of companies which has no legit rights to regulate any forex activities. Having registration does not mean having any regulation.
As per the United Kingdom law, all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorized or registered by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). When we searched in FCA, we only found a warning against this broker issued by the regulator for providing financial services or products in the UK without authorization. The truth is, SmartCoin FX is not under valid regulation by any regulators to provide investment services. Investors' funds in this company are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. It is a scam.
