Smarttradefx has a domain name created in 2021. However, the homepoage of this broker claims it won an award in 2016. It is a red flag.
Smarttradefx also claims to be a licensed broker under multiple regulation including U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Belize Financial Services Commission (Belize FSC) and Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
Firstly, please be informed that CFTC does not issue forex licenses or regulate forex activities.
Secondly, we searched Belize FSC and found no matching result.
Thirdly, we searched CySEC and found a warning. CySEC issues a warning that Smarttradefx is providing financial services without authorization.
That means Smarttradefx is not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.
