2 hours ago WikiForex

China-based retail FX and CFDs broker ATFX has released its Q2 2026 trading performance report, showing lower activity compared with its record first quarter.

The broker recorded $777 billion in total trading volume in Q2, down from $1.09 trillion in Q1 2026. Despite the decline, ATFX said its active client base increased 8.22% year-on-year, reflecting continued client growth.

By asset class, energy trading remained the strongest performer, with volume surging 787% year-on-year amid global market volatility. Cryptocurrency trading rose 33.42% quarter-on-quarter, while indices and forex volumes increased 11.73% and 7.63% year-on-year, respectively.

During the quarter, ATFX expanded internationally by receiving approval for a representative office in Colombia and appointing Dany Mawas as CEO of ATFX Africa. The broker also shut down its proprietary trading unit ATFunded following the departure of several key executives.

ATFX operates globally from locations including Hong Kong, Dubai, and London, and is led by Chairman Hiu Keung (Joe) Li.
