Malaysia SC Updates Investor Alert List: Robinhood Ventures, Omnitrade, KCEX Added for Unlicensed Activities

August 2026 – The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has expanded its Investor Alert List with several new entities suspected of running unauthorised investment schemes, clone scams, and unregistered digital asset exchanges.

Newly flagged entities include:

• Robinhood Ventures / Robinhood Ventures Sdn Bhd – alleged unlicensed corporate finance advisory services.

• Omnitrade (via omnitradefx.com) – operating an illegal investment scheme and dealing in securities without a valid capital markets licence.

• KCEX Fintech Limited – offering digital asset exchange (DAX) services without registration with the SC.

Clone firms and high‑return schemes also warned

The SC also identified potential clone entities misusing the names of legitimate licence holders, including:

• Etoro Group (clone)

• Level 17 Capital (clone) – falsely using a licensed firm’s credentials to promise unusually high returns.

• Pelaburan Gold Trade OctaFx (clone)

Other additions linked to illegal investment offers and unlicensed market activities:

• Golden Entry Prime

• Akthar Sahabat Invest

• Pelaburan Sy Success

• Sunway Trade Malaysia
