Taurex Reappoints Matthew Wright as Non-Executive Director

9 hours ago WikiForex

Taurex, the CFD broker, has brought Matthew Wright back to its board as a non-executive director, nearly three years after his departure to Exinity.

Wright, who previously served as Group CEO during the company’s Zenfinex era, returned in July on a part-time basis. In his role, he contributes to board oversight and strategy without engaging in daily operations.

His return reconnects the broker with a former leader who played a key role in its early growth and rebranding to Taurex in 2023—a move accompanied by leadership changes that saw founder Nick Cooker step back in as CEO.

Beyond Taurex, Wright co-founded Semoto Prime in London last April, a venture focused on streamlining multi-step payments and settlements involving fiat, crypto, and stablecoins.

With prior experience as Group COO at Exinity and CEO at Capital Index, Wright brings extensive FX and brokerage expertise to the table.
