HFM Appoints Georgios Papassavas as CEO, Highlighting Shift Toward Tech Leadership

HFM has appointed Georgios Papassavas as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a leadership change that reflects the growing role of technology executives in the trading industry.

Papassavas joined HFM nearly a decade ago and previously served as Chief Information Officer, leading the broker’s technology and digital development. He began his career in software engineering at Amdocs and later managed financial technology teams at FxPro.

Formerly known as HotForex, HFM rebranded in 2022 as it expanded from a forex-focused broker into a multi-asset trading provider.

The move follows a wider industry trend, with more technology leaders taking executive roles as AI, automation, and digital innovation reshape the financial markets.
