Matthew Wright Rejoins Taurex as CEO After Four Years

Retail FX and CFDs broker Taurex has appointed industry veteran Matthew Wright as Global CEO, returning to the company four years after leaving.

Wright rejoined Taurex last year as a Non-Executive Director and will now lead daily operations. Founder Nick Cooke remains focused on strategy and commercial growth.

The appointment comes during a growth phase: Taurex serves clients in around 140 countries, runs the funded trader division Atmos Funded, and recently closed a USD 40 million Series C funding round.

Cooke said Wright’s return reflects his deep understanding of the business. Wright added that the team’s strength and the company’s next stage of development made the move an easy decision.

Wright brings over 25 years of industry experience, including senior roles at GAIN Capital, Exinity, and Taurex.
