BaFin Warns Against 13 Unauthorized Investment and Crypto Platforms, Flags Identity Theft Risks

10 hours ago WikiForex

Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has issued fresh warnings against 13 websites suspected of providing unauthorized banking, investment, financial, and crypto-asset services.

According to BaFin, the flagged platforms include unauthorized trading websites, fake fixed-term deposit offers, fraudulent pre-IPO investment schemes, and crypto investment services. Several operators allegedly impersonated licensed financial institutions in the UK, Switzerland, Cyprus, and Germany to gain investors' trust.

The regulator also identified a coordinated network of crypto trading websites using the slogan "Improve Your Crypto Trading Experience," suggesting the sites may be operated by the same fraudulent group.

The latest platforms warned by BaFin include:

EuroXNow / EuroXOne (euroxnow.com; euroxone.com)
Allenby Group (allenbygroup.com)
RKR Epsilon (rkr-epsilon.com)
Mindora Group / BloomX (mindora.group; mindora.to; mybloomx.de)
ETF Admiral(s) (etf-admiral.global)
Broad Reach (broadreacheu.com)
Astenor AG (astenorag.com)
Donze Unlimited (donze-unlimited.com; user.dataflowportal.com)
Clear Market Europe (clearmarketeurope.com)
AlpineNova (alpinenova.io)
DegiroPartners (degiropartners.io)
Delta Private Capital (deltaprivatecapital.com)
WhiteLake Invest (whitelake-invest.de)

BaFin reiterated that banking, investment, securities, and crypto-asset services may only be offered in Germany with its authorization. The regulator urged investors to verify a firm's regulatory status through BaFin's official company database before depositing funds or making investments.
